anyone know if energy companies still help pay for new windows?

Been thinking about replacing our old drafty windows before winter hits, but man, the prices are kinda steep. I remember hearing somewhere that some utility companies used to offer rebates or discounts if you upgraded to energy-efficient windows. Is that still a thing? Has anyone here done it recently and can share how it went or if it's worth the hassle?

We replaced ours about two years ago, and yeah, our utility company still had a rebate program going. It wasn't huge, but it definitely softened the blow. Worth checking their website or giving them a quick callβ€”might save you a few hundred bucks at least.

Yeah, that's pretty much how it went for us too. Every little bit helps though, especially when you're staring down that invoice... Hang in there, it'll feel great once it's done!
