I went the same route—just swapped out the glass and left the old frames. It’s not the gold standard for efficiency, but honestly, you get a decent bump in comfort for way less money. Full replacements are great if you’ve got the budget, but a glass upgrade is a solid middle ground, especially if the frames are still solid. Sometimes it’s smarter to work with what you’ve got rather than chase perfection.
