Had to tape the window shut until the part came in.
Been there—nothing like a window taped up during a cold snap. I’ll say, my Andersens have held up better over time, but you’re right, that tilt-in move is basically arm day. Pella’s hardware just never felt as solid to me. Still, I’d take wrestling with latches over my old single-panes any day... at least the house isn’t an icebox now.
