Okay, so my windows are ancient and drafty as heck, and I'm finally biting the bullet to get them replaced. But um, I'm kinda on a tight budget here (aren't we all?), so I'm looking for installers who won't charge an arm and a leg. Quick poll: when you guys pick someone for window replacements, do you care more about price, reviews/reputation, or how fast they can get it done? Curious what matters most to everyone.

For me, it's a balance between price and reputation. I've seen too many horror stories about cheap installs that end up costing double in repairs later. I'd suggest getting at least three quotesβsometimes the mid-range guys offer the best bang for your buck. Also, check if your utility company offers rebates or incentives... saved me a decent chunk last year. Good luck!
