WINDOW GLASS FIX: LOCAL SHOP VS BIG BRAND SERVICE?

I've got a cracked window pane that's been bugging me for weeks now - finally decided it's time to get it sorted. There's a small local glass repair shop nearby, seems friendly enough and prices are decent. But there's also this bigger, well-known brand that offers glass repair services, probably more expensive but maybe more reliable? Um, anyone had experience with either type of service? Curious which you'd recommend and why.

- Went local last year, quick and cheap, no issues.
- Big brands might have better warranties though...
- How big's the crack? Small stuff I'd trust local, bigger jobs maybe brand name.
Had a similar situation a couple years back - medium-sized crack, nothing massive. Went with a local place, price was decent, and the fix held up fine. Honestly though, if it was something major or structural, I'd probably lean toward a bigger brand for peace of mind. Warranty might be better, but sometimes you're just paying extra for the name...depends how much that matters to you.
