Can New Windows Really Boost Your Home's Selling Price?

Log in to replyJust saw a news segment yesterday about how upgrading windows can seriously bump up your home's resale value. They mentioned stuff like energy-efficient windows and better curb appeal making a noticeable difference. I mean, it sounds logical, but I'm wondering if anyone here's actually seen this play out in real life? Like, did swapping out old windows really help you sell faster or get a better offer? Curious if it's worth the investment or just hype...

We replaced our ancient single-pane windows with energy-efficient ones about two years ago, mostly for comfort and lower bills. When we sold last summer, our realtor specifically highlighted them in the listing. Can't say for sure if they directly boosted the price, but we did get multiple offers pretty quickly. Buyers seemed impressed by the energy savings and modern look. So yeah, I'd say it's not just hype—definitely made our home stand out a bit more.
