First time window buyer here. From everything I’m seeing online this seems really expensive but wanted to see if I’m going crazy. Mix of elevate and ultimate Windows with some custom grids and transoms

Are we sure this is being compared on an apples-to-apples basis? The Elevate/Ultimate labels alone don’t tell you whether $150k is reasonable. How many total windows are included, and what are the individual sizes? Does the quote include tear-out, disposal, interior/exterior trim, flashing, scaffolding, permits, and any structural changes for the transoms or enlarged openings?
I’d also check the glass packages, grids, hardware, screens, installation warranty, and whether any openings require reframing. A large number of oversized/custom units with high-performance glass and substantial carpentry can add up quickly, while a basic replacement-window install would be a very different comparison. I’d ask for an itemized schedule showing each opening, product, dimensions, options, labor, and structural allowances, then get another quote using that same scope.
