- Tried layered sheers in my last place. Looked great for about a week, then the dust and pet hair just clung to them.
- Found they didn’t hold up well with daily use—especially with kids around.
- Privacy was a real issue at night. Even double-layered, you could see shadows.
- Switched to roller shades. Not as stylish, but way less maintenance and better privacy.
- Sometimes the extra cleaning just isn’t worth the “designer” look, honestly.
