I'm planning to replace some windows myself soon and debating between using a ladder or renting scaffolding. Ladder seems quicker and cheaper, but scaffolding feels safer and more stable, you know? Anyone done this before, which did you prefer and why?

Totally get where you're coming from. I've done window replacements myself a couple times, and honestly, scaffolding made a huge difference. Sure, it takes a bit longer to set up and costs a little more, but the stability you get is worth every penny—especially if you're handling heavier or awkward windows. Plus, it frees up your hands and lets you focus on getting the job done right without worrying about balance. Good luck with your project... sounds like you've got this!
