I'm planning to replace some windows myself soon and debating between using a ladder or renting scaffolding. Ladder seems quicker and cheaper, but scaffolding feels safer and more stable, you know? Anyone done this before, which did you prefer and why?

Totally get where you're coming from. I've done window replacements myself a couple times, and honestly, scaffolding made a huge difference.
