Battling drafty windows—what actually works in winter?

I’ve actually been eyeing those magnetic panels too, but haven’t pulled the trigger yet. My neighbor swears by them—says they’re a game changer for old windows, and you don’t get that “plastic film in a windstorm” look. Downside is, they’re a bit pricey upfront and you have to get the fit just right or they’ll rattle. I do like the idea of being able to pop them off if you want some fresh air though... Might be worth it if you’re sick of wrestling with the shrink wrap every fall.
