Dealing with Andersen window problems, I found the best way is to first document every issue (photos help), then call customer service and keep a log of who you spoke to and when. Sometimes you gotta follow up—don’t just wait forever for a callback. Anyone got a better method, or tips for getting a quicker response?

Yeah, keeping a log is clutch—especially when you call three times and get three different answers. Been there, done that, got the drafty living room to prove it. I’d add: don’t be afraid to mention energy efficiency while you’re on the phone. Sometimes if you say your windows are leaking air or costing you on heating/cooling, they perk up a bit faster. Maybe it’s just my luck, but the “my utility bills are through the roof” line seems to light a fire under them.

One thing that helped me was reaching out through their social media. I know, sounds weird, but I tweeted at Andersen about condensation issues and—boom—got a DM the next day. Way quicker than phone or email. Not everyone likes going public, but it worked for me.

Also, if you’re still under warranty, don’t let them brush you off. I had to remind them twice before they sent someone out. Guess persistence pays off... or maybe they just got tired of my follow-ups.
