We're building a cabin up around 9,000 feet, and I'm realizing window selection is trickier than I thought. Between the intense UV rays, freezing temps, and crazy wind gusts, regular windows probably won't cut it. Anyone have experience with this? I'm leaning toward triple-pane but wondering if that's overkill or just smart planning. Any advice or personal experiences would be super helpful right now...

Triple-pane isn't overkill at all, especially at that elevation. I helped a buddy build around 8,500 ft, and he went triple-pane with argon fillβmade a huge difference in comfort and energy bills. Definitely worth the extra upfront cost...
