Yeah, I’m kinda in the same boat. Did my first slider last fall and only shimmied the sides and bottom ‘cause that’s what YouTube said, but now I wonder if the top could use it too. There’s a tiny draft up there when it gets windy, like you said—not as bad as my old single-pane wood ones, but still not perfect. Heard someone say over-shimming can tweak the frame though, so I was nervous to go all-in. These things are way more finicky than I expected...
