For those who got impact windows, how much did your home insurance go down (if at all)? Trying to see if that helps justify the cost.
@tylerl31 In my case, our insurance discount was around $150 per year for having all impact-rated openings. Not huge (and less than the financing interest on the windows, honestly), but every bit helps. It might vary by insurer, but I wouldn't count on the insurance savings to make a big dent in the ROI. It's more about the protection and peace of mind for me.
