Totally agree about installation being key. We replaced ours with vinyl a couple years back, and the difference was huge—but honestly, I think half of that was just because the old ones were installed so badly. Curious though, did you notice much difference in noise reduction with your Milgards? Ours helped a bit, but I've heard some brands are way better at blocking street noise than others...
