Yeah, that’s probably it. We got our vinyl windows installed last fall and honestly, I was expecting to be toasty warm and rolling in savings. Didn’t really pan out. The installer did a basic caulk job but I went back and noticed cold air coming in around a couple frames. Ended up grabbing some low-expansion spray foam and filling the gaps myself—made more difference than the windows themselves, weirdly enough.
