I've been staring at my living room windows lately and thinking they're kinda... meh. You know how sometimes you just suddenly notice something you've ignored for years? Anyway, got me wondering—if I were to rip out the old trim and start fresh, what style would I even go for? I've seen some really sleek, minimalist trims lately that look super clean and modern. But then again, there's something cozy about those chunky farmhouse-style trims too.
Imagine you had a blank slate—no budget worries, no matching existing decor—just total freedom to pick whatever window trim style you wanted. Would you lean toward something trendy and modern or stick with classic and timeless? I'm kinda torn myself. Curious how others feel about this...
I've thought about this too, but honestly, do you think trendy window trims will still look good in 5 or 10 years? I mean, farmhouse style is cozy now, but remember when everyone went crazy for Tuscan kitchens? Now they're kinda dated. Maybe classic is safer...but then again, is playing it safe always the best choice when you're trying to refresh a space?
