Been looking into replacing my windows and I'm stuck between double pane and triple pane. Triple pane sounds fancy and all, but does it actually last longer or is it just marketing hype? Curious what others have experienced.

Honestly, longevity-wise, triple pane isn't necessarily more durableβ€”it's mainly about insulation and noise reduction. Had double panes for years without issues...maybe consider if your climate really justifies the extra cost?

Triple pane won't really outlast double pane in terms of durabilityβ€”it's more about efficiency. If you're somewhere with harsh winters or noisy streets, the comfort payoff might justify the cost. Otherwise, double pane usually does the job just fine.
