Yeah, same here - went with thermal curtains last winter and honestly, they're pretty great. Not perfect, but definitely warmer and way easier on the eyes than plastic wrap. Haven't tried those magnetic storm windows yet...

Haha, learned that lesson the hard way myself - ended up with curtains that were just a bit too short. Loving the new windows though, quieter nights and lower bills already noticeable... totally worth it.
