After years of dealing with traffic noise driving me nuts, I finally bit the bullet and upgraded my windows. Honestly, I was skeptical at first—figured it was mostly marketing hype—but wow, what a difference. Went with Milgard Quiet Line after reading tons of reviews and checking out some samples in-store. They're not cheap, but man, worth every penny. First night after installation, I legit thought something was wrong because it was so quiet, lol. Even the garbage truck rumbling by at 6 am barely registers now.

Curious if anyone else has had similar success with other brands or models? I almost went with Andersen but heard mixed things about their noise reduction. Would love to hear some real-world experiences before I recommend these to my brother who's living near an airport runway (poor guy).

- Had Andersen windows installed a couple years back—noise reduction was decent, but nothing amazing.
- Honestly, proper sealing and insulation around the frame made more impact than the brand itself.
- Glad Milgard worked for you, but I'd caution against expecting miracles near an airport runway...
