Good points on the responsiveness—I noticed the same thing when I checked out some demo units recently. Honestly, a couple minutes isn't usually a big deal, but I wonder how they'd hold up in climates with lots of sudden cloud cover shifts? Around here, weather changes fast, and I'm thinking frequent cycling might shorten their lifespan, even with newer models. Definitely worth digging into warranty details...might save headaches down the line.
