Last summer we decided to finally replace our old windows, thinking it'd be a quick weekend project—boy, were we wrong. The heatwave hit right when we started, and the caulk was drying faster than we could smooth it out. Plus, handling hot glass panes in 95-degree weather... not exactly fun. Has anyone else tackled window installations during a heatwave? Curious if it was just us being unlucky or if this is a common struggle, haha.

Replacing windows during a heatwave is definitely rough, but honestly, any outdoor project in extreme weather can turn into a nightmare. I've seen folks struggle just as much with siding or roofing when temps spike. Caulk drying too fast is pretty common—sometimes you have to switch to a slower-drying formula or work in smaller sections. Did you guys end up finding any tricks to manage the heat, or was it just a "power through it" situation?
