I’ve noticed the same thing - aluminum doesn’t really win any style points, but it just shrugs off the humidity and salt. I do wish it insulated better, though. I added thermal breaks to mine, which helped a bit with energy bills, but you still get some heat transfer. Vinyl’s been surprisingly resilient for me too, but I’m always a bit wary about UV exposure making it brittle over time. Coastal air is just relentless...
