Just moved into a fixer-upper near the coast, and I'm tackling window replacements myself. But um, humidity here is no joke, you know? Worried about moisture damage and mold down the line. Anyone dealt with this before or got some handy tips?

Totally feel you on this one—coastal humidity can be brutal. When I replaced mine, I made sure to use vinyl windows (wood looks nice but... moisture magnet). Also, flashing tape around the window frames is your best friend. Seal every gap carefully with silicone caulk, especially the corners. And don't skip insulating foam around the edges—it helps keep moisture out big time. You've got this, just take it slow and steady.
