I've been noticing lately that my windows are getting pretty foggy, especially in the mornings. At first, I thought it was just the weather changing or maybe humidity from cooking or showers or whatever. But now I'm starting to wonder if it's something more serious.
Did a bit of googling (I know, dangerous territory lol) and found out that moisture on windows can sometimes mean the seals are failing and the windows aren't insulating properly anymore. But then again, other sites say it's totally normal and just means your house is humid and you need better ventilation.
So now I'm kinda stuck between two options:
Option A: Assume it's just humidity and try to fix it by running fans more often, maybe getting a dehumidifier, or cracking open a window once in a while.
Option B: Bite the bullet and get someone out here to check if my windows are actually failing. Which could mean spending money on repairs or replacements (ugh).
Honestly, I'd rather not spend money if I don't have to...but I also don't wanna ignore it and end up with mold or higher heating bills down the road. Has anyone else dealt with this? Did you go for option A or B? Curious what worked out best for you guys.

Totally get where you're coming fromβbeen there myself. Before jumping into window replacements, I'd definitely try tackling humidity first. We had similar issues last winter, and running a dehumidifier overnight plus cracking windows briefly after showers made a huge difference. If that doesn't help after a couple weeks, then maybe consider getting someone to check the seals. Better safe than sorry, but no need to rush into big expenses right away.

Yeah, that can help, but honestly...I tried the whole dehumidifier dance last year and it barely made a dent. Turned out my windows were ancient and the seals were shot. Sometimes you just gotta bite the bullet.
