Been thinking about windows lately (exciting life, I know). Imagine you got those windows with the blinds built right inside the glass, and one day something goes wrong...like the blinds get stuck or tangled or whatever. How much of a nightmare would it be to fix or replace them? Anyone here dealt with this kinda thing before? Curious if it's worth the convenience or if it's just asking for trouble down the line.

My parents had those built-in blinds installed about 6 years ago, and honestly they've been pretty solid. But yeah, one window did get stuck halfway down once, and it wasn't something we could fix ourselves—had to call someone out. Not a total nightmare, just kinda inconvenient...

I've been debating these built-in blinds myself, but honestly, your experience kinda confirms my hesitation. My cousin had them installed a few years back, and while they looked sleek and all, she ran into similar issues—one window fogged up inside and another got stuck. Not deal-breakers exactly, but when something goes wrong, you're pretty much stuck calling in a pro. Seems like a lot of hassle for something that's supposed to be convenient...
