Had a similar experience when I swapped out my old drafty windows for the fancy gas-filled ones. My heating bill dropped, which was sweet, but I could still hear every word my neighbor yelled at his lawnmower. Turns out, the installer left a tiny gap in one corner—just enough for cold air and noise to sneak through. Next time, I’m definitely paying more attention to who’s doing the work than what’s inside the glass. Live and learn, right?
