Man, I totally get what you're saying. I swapped out my old windows for those big clean panes a couple years back and honestly, I still do a double take when I pull in the driveway. It’s like my house got a haircut and now I’m not sure if it suits it or not. I did look at those snap-in grids but they seemed kinda... plasticky? Like, if you’re gonna go for the look, might as well do it right. And yeah, I’m 99% sure my neighbors couldn’t care less. They probably just notice if I mow the lawn or not.
