Just saw a local news segment about how upgrading exterior window trims can seriously boost curb appeal and even home value. I recently tried doing mine with some basic tools and YouTube tutorials (um, mixed results lol). It was definitely trickier than expected, but honestly kinda satisfying seeing the finished result. Curious if anyone else has tried upgrading their window trims themselves and how it turned out? Or maybe you hired someone instead—was it worth it?

Yeah, that's pretty much how it went for me too. I tackled mine a couple years back thinking it'd be a quick weekend project... ended up taking almost two weeks and multiple trips to the hardware store. Honestly, the hardest part was getting the corners to line up right—those angles are no joke. Hiring someone probably would've saved me some headaches, but in the end, it turned out decent enough. Not sure I'd do it again myself though, lol.
