Finally updated my window trim and I'm kinda surprised how much difference it made.

Went with PVC trim boards instead of wood this time—figured they'd hold up better in the weather. Installation was pretty straightforward, but cutting them cleanly took a bit of practice, you know? Overall, they look sharp and seem sturdy enough. Anyone else tried PVC trim boards? Curious if they hold up as well long-term as everyone says.

- Used PVC trim boards about 4 years ago on my garage windows—still look great, zero rot or warping.
- Agree on the cutting part though... took me a few tries to get clean edges without melting or rough spots.
- One thing I noticed: they expand and contract a bit more than wood, so leave a little wiggle room.
- Overall, pretty impressed with durability and low maintenance. Good call switching over.
