Yep, been there myself. Mold around windows can be sneaky as heck. I spent weeks obsessively caulking every tiny gap I could find, convinced I'd solved it... only to realize later that my gutters were basically mini swimming pools after every storm. 🤦♂️
Once I cleaned them out and adjusted the downspouts away from the house, things improved dramatically. Also, don't underestimate checking your siding—sometimes water finds its way behind there and travels down to the window frames. Learned that one the hard way too.
Anyway, sounds like you're on the right track with flashing and gutters. Mold issues are frustrating as anything, but hang in there—you're definitely not alone in this battle.
