That's reassuring to hear about the insurance savings—I hadn't even thought about that angle. We're still debating window replacements ourselves, but the noise reduction alone sounds tempting... our street gets pretty busy too. Thanks for sharing your experience, definitely helps!

We replaced ours about three years ago, and honestly, the noise reduction was one of the biggest surprises. I expected some improvement, but it was way more noticeable than I thought it'd be. Our street isn't super busy, but we do have neighbors with loud trucks and the occasional lawn mower brigade on weekends... now it's just a dull hum. Insurance savings were decent too, but the real bonus for us was the lower electric bills—especially during those brutal Tampa summers. Definitely worth considering if you're on the fence.

Did a similar job for a client in Clearwater a couple months back, and they mentioned the same thing about noise. Most folks expect the energy savings, but the soundproofing catches them off guard. Good windows with proper seals make a bigger difference than people realize.

Yep, can confirm this. Did my windows last year thinking I'd just save a bit on the electric bill—didn't even cross my mind about noise. First night after install, I legit thought something was wrong because it was TOO quiet... no more neighbor's dog serenading me at 2am. Worth every penny just for that peace alone, lol.
