Windows that tint themselves? Saw this new tech and I'm torn

Also, any issues with the tint failing or acting up? I’ve read mixed stuff about longevity.

Yeah, hiding the wires is a pain. I tried a test install on one window in my den and the wires were way more noticeable than I expected. Ended up pulling it off because it bugged me every time I walked by. Not sure there’s a good way around that unless you’re cool with some creative trim work.

That wire situation is no joke. I tried to get clever with some cable raceways, but honestly, unless your trim is already chunky or you’re up for some DIY, it’s tough to make it look seamless. The tech itself is cool, but I totally get why you’d pull it off if it bugs you daily. Maybe in a few years they’ll figure out a wireless version... or at least something less intrusive. For now, creative trim work seems like the only real workaround if you want it to look clean.
