Totally feel you on the caulking struggle, haha. I thought it'd be a quick weekend job until I found myself covered in silicone and redoing sections three times over. But hey, at least your windows are doing better! Small bits of moisture are pretty normal—especially if it's super cold outside. Sounds like you're already ahead of the game with ventilation, too. Give yourself some credit; home improvements can be tricky, but they're always worth it in the end.

Went through the same caulking headache myself last fall—definitely underestimated the prep work involved. Ended up stripping and redoing the sealant twice before I got a clean finish. Regarding moisture, minor condensation is typical, especially with temperature swings. Proper ventilation helps, but I've found that keeping indoor humidity below 50% makes a noticeable difference. Glad your windows turned out well; it's satisfying once it's done right.

I feel your pain on the caulking front—had a similar battle myself when I redid my bathroom last year. Thought it'd be a quick afternoon job, but nope... ended up scraping it off twice because I rushed the prep. Lesson learned, I guess. Interesting point about humidity levels though; I've never really tracked mine closely. Maybe that's why I still get some condensation? Might have to look into a hygrometer or something. Anyway, glad your windows turned out great—it's always worth the hassle once you see the results.

I hear you on the humidity thing—honestly, keeping an eye on that made a huge difference for me. I used to think condensation was just inevitable in winter, but since getting a hygrometer and adjusting things accordingly, it's been way better. Still have the occasional battle with caulking though... seems like no matter how careful I am, there's always one spot that mocks me later, haha. Glad your windows turned out well—good windows are underrated until you experience them firsthand.

Yeah, good windows do make a difference, but honestly, are you sure it's just the windows helping with condensation? I've seen plenty of cases where people upgrade their windows expecting miracles, only to realize humidity control is the real hero. Glad you're noticing improvements though... caulking battles never end, trust me.

Yeah, windows definitely help, but I gotta agree humidity control often gets overlooked. I've had clients swap out their windows expecting a total fix, only to find condensation creeping back in after a few months. Usually, it's because the indoor humidity is still too high—especially in bathrooms or kitchens without proper ventilation. Good windows slow down condensation buildup, but pairing them with decent exhaust fans or even a dehumidifier is usually the real game changer. Glad you're seeing improvements though... and yeah, caulking is basically a forever chore, lol.

Yeah, that's a really good point. When we upgraded our windows, we noticed a big improvement at first, but after a while, condensation started creeping back in too. Turned out our bathroom fan wasn't venting properly. Once we fixed that, things got way better. Glad you're already seeing some positive results though... and yeah, caulking never ends, does it?

Yeah, bathroom ventilation is definitely key. We had a similar issue—thought new windows would solve everything, but nope. Turns out our kitchen exhaust fan was barely doing anything, and cooking steam was sneaking into other rooms. Once we upgraded that fan, the condensation practically disappeared overnight. You're right though, caulking feels like a never-ending chore... always something to touch up somewhere. Glad you're noticing improvements already!

We went through something similar, thinking windows would magically fix our humidity issues. Helped a bit, but the real game changer was insulating the attic better—turns out moisture was sneaking in from above. Always another surprise waiting when you own a home, right?

That's interesting—did you notice any temperature improvements after insulating the attic too? I've found that sealing air leaks up there not only helps with humidity but also makes heating and cooling noticeably more efficient. It's funny how moisture issues often come down to airflow and insulation rather than just window upgrades. Owning a home really is like peeling an onion...always another layer to uncover, isn't it?
