Yeah, it's pretty ridiculous how guarded they are with pricing. I ran into the same thing when I was replacing windows a couple years back. Ended up just going down to a local place and chatting with someone face-to-face because the online runaround was driving me crazy. Funny thing is, once I actually talked to someone, they gave me a rough estimate right away—no email harvesting or endless spam calls afterward.
Makes me wonder if they're purposely vague online to push you into talking to a salesperson directly. Like, maybe they think once they've got you on the phone, you'll be easier to upsell or something. Anyone else think that's what's going on, or am I just being overly cynical here?
