I keep reading mixed stuff—some say it peels after a year, others swear by special primers. If you did it, did you use spray paint or brush, and how’d it hold up? Or maybe you just left ‘em as is because it sounded like a pain. What’s your experience?

First, I measured the original part (used calipers—eyeballing didn’t cut it). Modeled in Tinkercad, printed at 0.2mm layer height, then sanded the nubs for fit. Only issue: PLA warps in the sun after a few months. Has anyone had better luck with PETG or ABS? Or maybe a post-processing trick to stop the warping?

Went with double-pane, but honestly, I still hear way more traffic than I expected. Maybe triple-glazed would’ve been better? Also, installation was a pain with all the building rules and tight schedule. Anybody else deal with this? Did you find a window that actually blocks out city noise, or is it just wishful thinking?

Got three old windows that need replacing (originals from the 70s, so yeah, they’re rough). Quotes from pros are kinda painful, but I’ve also never swapped out a window myself. Is the labor cost justified, or is this something a semi-handy person can tackle without regrets?
