Had a similar experience with Pella myself a couple years back—took forever to get a response, but once they finally got moving, they actually took care of it pretty well. Definitely agree about comfort being the real win. Did anyone notice much difference in noise reduction too?
I've worked with Pella a fair bit, and while comfort usually does improve, I wouldn't count on a huge difference in noise reduction. Had a client once who swapped out their old windows specifically hoping to cut traffic noise—honestly, they were pretty disappointed. It did help a little, but nowhere near what they expected for the price. Just saying, temper expectations if noise is your main concern...
