We just finished our remodel and went with Sierra Pacific windows. Honestly, I was a bit nervous at first because they're not as widely known as some other brands, but wow, they've been fantastic. The wood finish is gorgeous, and the insulation is way better than our old windows. Even our contractor was impressed, and he's usually pretty picky, haha. Curious if anyone else has had good luck with Sierra Pacific or maybe Loewen windows? Would love to hear how they're holding up for you guys.
We went with Loewen windows about three years ago, and here's my quick take: installation was straightforward (our contractor didn't complain much, which is rare...), and the wood finish still looks great. Insulation-wise, they're solid—definitely noticed fewer drafts during winter. Only minor gripe is that one window started sticking a bit last summer, but nothing a little sanding couldn't fix. Curious how Sierra Pacific compares long-term...might consider them for our next project if they hold up well.
