My apartment gets super stuffy in the afternoons, even with windows open. I've tried opening different combinations but can't seem to get a good airflow going. Anyone got tips on window placement or tricks to catch a better breeze?

Yeah, afternoons can be rough... have you tried opening windows on opposite sides of your apartment at the same time? I noticed in mine, creating a cross-breeze helps way more than just opening random windows. Might be worth experimenting a bit more with placement.
Cross-breeze definitely helps, but honestly, window placement isn't everything. I used to obsess over it until I realized shading the sunny side with curtains or blinds made a bigger difference in keeping things cool... worth a shot if breeze alone isn't cutting it.
