I've noticed lately that a couple of my double-pane windows keep fogging up between the glass layers. At first, I thought it was just condensation from the cold weather, but nopeβ€”turns out it's actually trapped moisture inside. It's pretty annoying because it makes the windows look dirty all the time, even though they're clean. Has anyone else dealt with this? Did you find a fix, or am I stuck replacing the whole window?

Ugh, I feel your pain. Had the exact same issue last winter with a couple windows in my living room. At first, I tried ignoring it (hoping it'd magically fix itself, lol), but nopeβ€”just got worse. Did some digging around online and found out it's usually because the seal between the panes has failed, letting moisture sneak in.

I looked into DIY fixes like drilling tiny holes to vent the moisture, but honestly, that seemed kinda sketchy and risky to me. Ended up calling a local window repair place, and they actually replaced just the glass part instead of the whole frame. Saved me a decent chunk of money compared to replacing the entire window.

Might be worth checking if any local companies near you offer something similar before you bite the bullet on full replacements. Good luck...homeownership is always an adventure, right? 😂
