Saw this article yesterday about some new window tech that's supposed to completely stop condensation from forming. Apparently, it's some special coating or something that keeps the glass surface temperature stable so moisture doesn't build up. Honestly, sounds pretty great because I'm tired of wiping down my windows every morning in winter. But I'm also a little skeptical—seems like every few years there's some new "miracle" product that promises to solve all our household annoyances, and half the time they're overpriced gimmicks.

Anyone else read about this or maybe even tried something similar? Curious if it's actually legit or just another marketing hype thing.

I've read about coatings like this before, and while the concept is neat, I'm not totally convinced it's the best solution. Condensation usually points to humidity or ventilation issues—have you checked your home's humidity levels or airflow lately? I had similar fogging problems last winter and ended up installing a couple of vents and adjusting my heating slightly... made a noticeable difference without splurging on fancy glass coatings. Might be worth looking into first before investing in something that might just be marketing hype.

Yeah, coatings can help a bit, but they're definitely not a magic fix. I've installed plenty of windows with these anti-fog coatings, and while customers usually notice some improvement, it rarely solves the root issue completely. Like you said, humidity and airflow are usually the bigger culprits. In my own place, I had fogging issues until I upgraded the bathroom fan and cracked open windows occasionally—made way more difference than any coating ever did. Worth trying simpler fixes first before dropping cash on fancy glass tech...
